Cons

  • Battery isn't rechargeable

In case you haven’t heard, disposable vapes are on their last legs in the UK. At the beginning of 2024, the government announced a plan to ban all disposable vapes – along with making other changes that will affect how vaping products are sold – with the ban expected to take effect around the beginning of 2025. At that time, the best disposable vapes will no longer be available, and users will have to find other options.

Until then, though, technology continues to march forward – and with the release of the IVG 2400, we have something that’s never existed before in the UK: a TPD-legal vaping device with 8 ml of e-liquid storage.

IVG 2400 Disposable Vape Review

How is this possible? The answer is that the e-liquid for the IVG 2400 is packaged separately from the device in four pods that each contain 2 ml of vape juice. The IVG 2400 device has four chambers to hold the pods, and you load the pods into the device before using it. The result is a disposable vape that holds 8 ml of e-liquid and lasts up to 2,400 puffs without violating the TPD.

As exciting as it seems on the surface to have a disposable vape with such an enormous e-liquid capacity, the way in which the IVG 2400 achieves this capacity comes with some compromises that may make the device less than ideal for some users.

Without a doubt, the IVG 2400 is definitely worth a try for the sheer novelty value alone – but how quickly will the novelty wear off? We’ll try to answer that question in this review.

How Much Does the IVG 2400 Cost?

The IVG 2400 costs £12.95 and includes four e-liquid pods containing 8 ml of vape juice in total. Although it’s a little more expensive than other disposable vapes, it’s significantly less than the cost of buying four traditional disposables to get the same 8 ml of e-liquid. If you place your order through our link, you’ll pay no shipping fee if the total is over £39.99. You’ll also enjoy same-day shipping if you place your order before 4 PM on a weekday.

IVG 2400: Specifications and Features

IVG 2400 Flavours

Specifications

  • Battery Capacity: 1,750 mAh, non-rechargeable
  • Nicotine Strength: 20 mg/ml nicotine salt
  • Number of Puffs: Up to 2,400
  • Number of Flavours: 48 at the time of writing including multi-flavour packages
  • Activation: Puff-activated firing
  • Indicator Light: Yes; light blinks when the battery is dead

Features

  • The defining feature of the IVG 2400 is obviously the fact that it holds 8 ml of vape juice and lasts up to 2,400 puffs, while traditional disposables hold only 2 ml of e-liquid and last just 600 puffs. If this feature is successful with the public, we can guarantee that other manufacturers will be doing it very soon.
  • The fact that the IVG 2400 holds four separate e-liquid pods doesn’t just make it unique among disposable vapes – this feature isn’t available in any other type of vape. A pre-filled pod system only provides that amount of e-liquid storage if you travel with extra pods. With a refillable vape, you’d have to go everywhere with a bottle of e-liquid. The IVG 2400 holds the full 8 ml of e-liquid inside the device.
  • Because the IVG 2400 holds four separate pods, it also creates the possibility of allowing you to switch between up to four different flavours on the fly whenever you like. IVG has already begun to take advantage of this feature by offering some multi-flavour packages. You can also buy your favourite flavours individually and mix them up. This is certain to be an intriguing feature for anyone who doesn’t like sticking with the same e-liquid flavour for long.

Using the IVG 2400: Our Impressions

IVG 2400 How to Use

The IVG 2400 is very unlike any other disposable vape that’s ever existed. It’s also the first disposable vape that requires a bit of setup before you can use it. The setup is fairly simple, though, and the process is aided by a large picture on the outside of the box. Here’s what you need to do.

  • Remove the device’s mouthpiece to expose the four internal pod chambers.
  • Insert a pod into each chamber with the pod’s metal contacts facing down.
  • Replace the mouthpiece.
  • Pull the IVG 2400 apart gently and twist it so that the arrows on the two halves align. You’ll notice that each of the four pod chambers has a number. We suggest starting with chamber 1 and cycling through the chambers in order as they run out of e-liquid unless you’re mixing flavours.
  • Puff to vape.
  • Twist the IVG 2400 and align the arrow with a different number when a pod runs out of e-liquid or when you want to switch flavours. When a pod is empty, it’ll produce a burnt flavour. You can also remove the pods to check them if you want.

In testing the IVG 2400, one of the first things we noticed was the device’s substantial size. It’s definitely less pocketable than most other vaping devices, which makes perfect sense because it’s essentially four disposable vapes in one – including a battery with a large enough capacity to use all four pods. The design of the IVG 2400 does eliminate the need to carry extra pods or a bottle of e-liquid since everything you need is in one device. Still, though, you might be a bit shocked by the size if you’re currently using a pod system or another brand of disposable vape.

Aside from the fact that it stores what should be several days of e-liquid in a single package, one of the biggest use cases for the IVG 2400 is the fact that you can put different flavours into each of the four chambers if you like. You can do this by buying four separate devices and mixing the pods, or you can buy one of the several multi-flavour packages offered by IVG. If you love switching between different flavours, the IVG 2400 might be the ideal device.

As unique as the IVG 2400’s feature set may be, it does have one fairly significant drawback in that the battery isn’t rechargeable. The 1,750 mAh battery is intended to provide enough power to use all of the e-liquid in the four pods, but some users have reported that it doesn’t always seem to last quite that long. Shortly after the release of the IVG 2400, IVG increased the device’s battery capacity from 1,500 mAh to 1,750 mAh. Still, though, a few users have mentioned that they haven’t quite been able to drain the last of the four pods.

Combining removable pods with a rechargeable battery, however, would have essentially made the IVG 2400 a pod system rather than a disposable vape. Perhaps that’s why IVG made the decision to omit that feature.

What Are the IVG 2400 Flavours Like?

IVG 2400 Pods

IVG was an e-liquid company before branching out into the world of disposable vapes, so it’s unsurprising that the IVG 2400 has an excellent flavour selection. Like most of the disposable vapes that are on the market today, the IVG 2400 features an extensive range of both fruity and icy e-liquids. In addition to those flavours, this device also has several tobacco and menthol options for those who prefer e-liquids that aren’t quite as sweet.

If you’re on the hunt for more creative flavour profiles that are a bit different from the run-of-the-mill flavours that every brand carries, you’ll enjoy plenty of those with the IVG 2400 as well. Here are a few of our favourites.

  • Heavenly Drops: Savoury aniseed blends with sweet liquorice before coalescing into a honey-tinged finish.
  • Cola Lime: A fizzy cola base pairs beautifully with a squeeze of lime to create a flawless summer cocktail.
  • Professor Blue: A blend of blueberry and raspberry with a dash of chilly menthol for extra refreshment.

IVG 2400 Review: Final Thoughts

The core feature of the IVG 2400 – the fact that it stores 8 ml of vape juice in a single self-contained package – is very novel indeed. It’s the first TPD-legal vaping device with more than 2 ml of e-liquid, and other manufacturers will surely copy the design.

Whether the four-chambered design of the IVG 2400 will be sufficient to make people want to buy the device more than once, however, remains to be seen. At the end of the day, it’s essentially an extremely large pod system without a rechargeable battery. It also costs more than what you’d pay for the equivalent amount of e-liquid in pre-filled vape pods. So, unless you’re completely averse to carrying extra pods, you might have a better experience with a pod-based device like the Voom Pod Mod (review).

One thing that other vapes can’t do, though, is store multiple flavours in the same device without any contamination between them. That’s likely to be a strong selling point for anyone who enjoys switching e-liquid flavours throughout the day. If that’s the way you like to vape, you’ll probably really enjoy the IVG 2400.

Pros

  • It’s the first TPD-legal vape that lets you carry 8 ml of vape juice in a single device.
  • Once it’s set up, most people will find that it lasts days with no further maintenance required, apart from rotating the mouthpiece when a pod is empty.
  • It allows you to store multiple flavours in the same device and switch between them easily, with no flavour contamination between the pods.
  • It’s less expensive than buying four traditional disposables.

Cons

  • It doesn’t have a rechargeable battery, and some people have complained about running out of battery power before completely exhausting the last pod.
  • It may have a limited audience because many of the people who might have considered buying it will end up getting pod systems instead.
